Star Child in WinterCarefully, I step on the white dusted grass.
The frozen evening dew moistens me.
It is cold – I do not feel it.
Only the silence of the night is all around me.

My hair becomes entangled in an icy wind.
So that I fear to be blown away.
I reach out for the branch of a tree
To seek help and protection.

In front of me I can see the forest in awesome loftiness.
The trees welcome me.
Finally I arrive at the spot I am heading to –
The clearing – a spiritual place.

I stop in the middle of this circle –
Symbol of eternity, image of perfection.
I wait and only my breath can be heard.
Time seems to stand still.

Then, at last – the cloud

Forgive me.... It was my first time doing anything like this.....

Yeah, I did this using MS Paint, Easy Paint Tool S.A.I, and Photoshop CS6. (Nope, no Manga Studios this time...

...)

I found out how to do animation on Photoshop!~

That looks so cute! xD (Now I know where your icon came from) And you substituted a real star for the word "star" in your name! xD That's awesome, and I think the star eliminates unecessary letter clutter

And the animation came out excellent as well! Very smooth and natural-looking

If you had the time and patience, I think it would've been cool if you made the gleaming on your name move or shimmer as well, but your little chibi more than makes up for it

Thanks! Oh the icon had to be done in a different file and canvas since dA only lets me do 50x50 animated icons.

Haha, it's all good

Very impressive that you were able to put all this together in only a half an hour! Maybe one of these days you can spruce it up 'n all that jazz, but like I said before, it still looks fantastic from the concept to the final product-awesome!

It's all good

I've been going through mine today, and I got a bunch of yours xD Although I think I'll make this my last messege :/ Tomorrow morning I'm moving, and then soon after I'm off to the Navy so I wont have internet for a couple of months, but I'll be back eventually :3 I was thinking of now putting up a journal saying I'm leaving, but I think you're the only one I actually talk to now (and no one reads my journals anyway *tear tear*) xD Thanks for being my buddy by the way, and I enjoyed talking to you through DA! :3 You've made my stay much more enjoyable

I hope you continue to keep up your art and that your troublesome computer programs will finally work for you so you can continue to do more! And when I come back I want to see how much you've improved!!

Thanks again for being such a nice person, and hopefully we can chat once again some day!
